Dermatophyte Abscess in a Renal Transplant Patient by Trichophyton Rubrum - A Case Report A case report

Abstract
This is a case report of a upper arm abscess in a post-transplant patient. Patients FNAC showing fungal hyphae with foreign body giant cells. Complete excision of abscess was doneand pus was sent for KOH mount, bacterial and fungal culture. Tissue was sent for histopathological examination. On the basis of culture and microscopy it was found to be Trichophyton rubrum, a rare finding.
